Has been a teacher researcher in mineralogy at the university from 1982 to 1986, company manager from 1986 to 1990 of a company specialized in hydrogeology and water treatment; from 1990 to 1996, project manager at the general management of the CESI group (management of 11 European projects), deputy general manager and development manager since 1996 in companies specialized in the search for asbestos in materials and in the air Was trained specifically in asbestos testing by Dr. Mc Kee of Ameri Sci in Richmond in December 1996. Has supervised the establishment of several laboratories in Europe specialized in asbestos testing with the implementation of their quality system. In this field, he is a technical evaluator for European accreditation bodies. Represented the SYRTA (union of the removal and treatment of asbestos and other pollutants) at AFNOR, from 2005 to 2015. Represents AFNOR since 2006 in working groups concerning asbestos at ISO. From 1991 to 1996, advised ministries and companies in France and in Europe on environmental training. Since 1971, he has carried out expert assessments for companies, particularly large industrial groups, on the protection of water resources, legionella risk and asbestos risk. He has carried out technical expertises in support of judicial experts (as a sapiteur) on cases concerning asbestos or the environment. Has been audited as an expert on asbestos by the ANSES for fine asbestos fibers, tremolite talc and elongated mineral particles of interest.
